The Toyota 2JZ engine is most known for being in last generation Supra’s. This 3.0l I-6 has a nasty reputation for being an animal on the streets. 1997-1998 versions even came out with VVT-I or variable valve timing. The most famous 2JZ is the twin turbo version. The strongest twin turbo 2JZ’s came with 320hp bone stock. These engines modified can make big power and perform well. Even though the Supra was discontinued in 1998 other versions of the 2JZ were made in Lexus cars till 2005.
Will Grant is the owner of this stellar 1998 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo. Will resides in the great state of Florida in a town called Kissimmee. I have to give Will a lot of credit this car is nice and clean. He just used a old school combo that works a nice paint job and a good set of wheels. With the beautiful factory lines of this last generation Supra I feel extra body parts could take away from this car and Will hit a home run with it. The banner on the windshield is the car club Will is apart of called “BAD INFLUENCE AUTO SQUAD” that also originated in New Jersey.

The Skyline has been around since the 1950s believe it or not but was called different names. Most Americans will never see a real R33 in person like this because they are illegal in the United States do to not meeting our safety standards, I believe there are only around 50+/- in the country. Skylines are probably one of the most recognized high performance Japanese cars because of the popular Gran Turismo games. The R33 came in a coupe or sedan model and also came in RWD or AWD. Many engine options to list but the baddest was a twin turbo 2.8L I-6. When modified you can make a skyline perform well on a road course or drag strip. BY Dave King
