This engine is one bad mother. The Cammer was made in the mid 1960′s as an engine for Nascar. Due to certain circumstances this motor was banned from Nascar. The Cammer is also the only engine to ever get banned from Nascar. It uses the same block as the pushrod 427 side oiler. These engines were mostly used for serious racing platforms. The Cammer was also found in street cars like the Shelby Cobra along with other special edition Fords. All the Cammers were also hand built.

The Bricklin SV-1 is a very unusual car. It was made by a American millionaire named Malcolm Bricklin. Malcolm also founded Subaru of America. The SV-1 was made from 1974-1975 before halting due to financial problems. In 1975 a Ohio based automotive liquidator purchased the rest of the cars and finished them as 1976 models. SV-1 stands for “safety vehicle one”. Bricklin’s goal was to make a very safe sports car. In eyes of many car fans this is one of the worst cars ever made.

De Tomaso is a Italian sports car company founded in 1959. The Pantera was made from 1971-1991. Most you will see in America are the 1971-1975 models because Ford imported them to their show rooms. These cars are powered by a Ford 351 Cleveland engine. The body style on all production models is pretty close with simiular lines and features. Later model Panteras have things like body kits and better interior verses the older ones. The first Panteras that came to the USA were not very well built and were undependable. Elvis Presley had one and he shot it with his pistol when it would not start while he was drunk. These cars look very exotic and can be built to have mind blowing performance.

In 1993 the Lightning was made as Fords answer to GM’s SS454 and GMC Cyclone. These trucks today are some what rare but you can find one if you really want one. The first generation Lightning came in three different colors such as white, red, and black. The only transmission option was a 4 speed automatic. Most of these trucks also came with a 4.10.1 gear ratio. My favorite is under the hood with a great performance platform the 351w motor with factory Gt40 heads and performance intake. Stock these trucks had 240hp+/- and 340+/- Ft_lbs of torque which was kinda stout in the mid 90s. Total production of these trucks from 1993-1995 is around 11,563+/- units.  Not only is the engine better than other F150s these years but also had better handling suspension.
