Mother nature was nasty that day. Our show started at 12pm and at 12pm the bottom fell out hard. On the other hand, the weather cleared that afternoon and we still had a few nice rigs show up. For the few that made it we still did a little awards judging. The mayor of Kimberly, AL judged 3 best in show plaques, put up by TP’s. We are going to throw this event again on June 26 so come out!
Come on down this weekend for a great time with cool bikes and cars. We want all types of vehicles to join in. Good food, music, and prizes. No entrance fee just pull up to this fun cruise in show.
Where: TP’s Bar and Grill- 9394 Peterson Drive Kimberly,Al 35091

The LT1 was a huge stepping stone for GM’s late model performance. The Lt1 made it’s first appearance in the early 1970s in Corvettes and Camaros. The 2nd generation engines were produced from 1992-1997. You can find versions of these engines in the Caprice, Roadmaster, F-Bodies, Fleetwood, Impala SS, and the Corvette. The LT1 is a 350ci small block V8. Overall this motor has a reputation for good performance and dependability.

We are very excited to have our first cover in our new segment “gearhead garages”. Brian Eichelberger is the owner of this neat garage and lives in Agoura Hills,California. This garage reminds me of route 66 with all its old school pictures and automotive collectibles. The black and white checker floor is industrial tile. Brian is retired law enforcement and this is a hangout were he and his friends BBQ and watch sports. Brian is a huge NHRA and Nascar fan and goes to a lot of cruise ins and car shows.
