The McLaren F1 is one of the baddest sports cars ever made. Its was produced from 1992-1998 with only 106 road driven versions. In 1998 it set the world record for the fastest production car with a top speed of  240 mph. Even today only three super cars have beaten the F1′s record the Bugatti Veryron,Koenigsegg CCR, and the SSC Ultimate Aero TT. What I think is really cool about these is the drivers seat is in the center and has passenger seats on each side. In 1998 you would have spent a mind blowing $970,000 +/- for one of these hot rods. On October 29 2008 a F1 sold for a mega $4,100,000 US dollars at a RM Automobiles Auction in London. If you have never seen a McLaren F1 in real life the chances are you may never will.
