Get used to seeing Schwartz Performance vehicles here at gearheadhaven.com. They do really cool stuff and we will continue to feature their creations. Schwartz Performance is located in Woodstock, IL. These guys modify cars with the total package such as horsepower, handling, braking, engineering, and ride quality etc. What I like about this company they blend old school rides with modern technology and style.
Scooter is our youngest forum member at the age of 16. This is his very first car and he has hooked it up into a clean looking ride. He lives in the great state of North Carolina. Kenneth and his dad are real big into the Mustang and car show scene there. Kenneth is an ace at taking automotive pictures and making cool profile signatures. Kenneth helps his dad work on his Mustang GT allot as well. I have the feeling one day that sweet stang will say Scooter on the license plate.
The Toyota 2JZ engine is most known for being in last generation Supra’s. This 3.0l I-6 has a nasty reputation for being an animal on the streets. 1997-1998 versions even came out with VVT-I or variable valve timing. The most famous 2JZ is the twin turbo version. The strongest twin turbo 2JZ’s came with 320hp bone stock. These engines modified can make big power and perform well. Even though the Supra was discontinued in 1998 other versions of the 2JZ were made in Lexus cars till 2005.
Don is the owner of this boulevard bruiser. Don’s nickname is “moonshine”. His ride is a blown 1970 split bumper Camaro. This ride looks good and has a great body style. The color on his menacing machine is the original Chevrolet shadow gray. Don’t let it fool you this car has never seen a drag strip and is street driven. Don told us “I mostly just cruise nights and go on beer runs”.
Buggies are just pure awesome. Street or off road the possibilites are just endless. In some U.S. states you can have a street legal buggy. Off Road a well built rail can just about out climb anything. Buggies are light weight and with just some power you can fly. The custom options for show and go is insane. Not many people have the chance to drive an open wheel racer like a Indy Car, but in one of these you can get a similar effect.
