  This is the famous AMC Pacer. It was not only one of the oddest looking cars of the 1970′s but possibly of all time. The Pacer was produced from 1975-1980. The design was aimed to be futuristic looking for it’s time. These cars were made in Mexico and the USA. The Pacer was classified as a compact car but is wide as a full size. Some Pacers even came with small block V8′s. A  Pacer was Wayne and Garth’s ride in the 1990′s hit movie “Wayne’s World”. The poster above with the fancy lady is a French ad for the Pacer.
